2023 Women’s World Cup odds and expert prediction
We're just one day away from the start of the 2023 Women's World Cup, so it's time to place your bets.
The United States enters the tournament with a chance to three-peat as World Cup Champions. They're also the betting favorites to do exactly that. So, should you bet on them? I certainly don't think so, but I'm not soccer expert.
Let's take a look at the odds to win the World Cup and then we'll get an actual expert's opinion on where you should place your money.

Instead of listening to me about the Women's World Cup, I asked an actual soccer expert, Jamie Spencer from 90min.com to give us his take on who will win:
"It's difficult to see anyone other than the United States going all the way for the third straight time," Spencer told BetSided. "It's quite a different team from 2019, but the quality isn't any less - Sophia Smith, Trinity Rodman, Ashley Sanchez, Naomi Girma and Alyssa Thompson are all about to announce themselves on the world stage. This is also the last World Cup rodeo for Megan Rapinoe and probably Alex Morgan, Kelley O'Hara and Alyssa Naeher, so there is extra incentive to go out on a high.
"Their half of the knockout bracket is way more favorable than the other side containing England, Germany, France, Australia and Canada, so there is potential to get all the way to the semi finals before actually meeting an opponent of genuine elite quality. England could well get bogged down in the quarter-finals."
So there you have it. From Jamie Spencer himself, maybe the United States will pull off the three-peat on the international stage.
At the very least, we can all but guarantee they'll start the tournament off with a win. They're insurmountable favorites against Vietnam on Friday night.
