The Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls are falling off the pace after each cam out of the gate hot. Charlotte has lost five in a row while the Bulls are coming off back-to-back losses.

Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

DeMar DeRozan OVER 28.5 Points (-120)

DeRozan continues to pile on the points and is averaging 27.2 per game heading into tonight. But, over his last two games, DeRozan has been on absolute fire. He has combined to score 93 points in his last 77 minutes of work and is shooting 53.3 percent from the field so far in February.

The Hornets have one of the softer defenses in the NBA and I think they will struggle to contain a streaking DeRozan. 

Nikola Vucevic OVER 20.5 Points (-130)

Vucevic has not been the player for the Bulls that he was for the Magic so far since signing with Chicago. He is still contributing but he is not putting up the superstar numbers that the Bulls were expecting from him.

That is, up until recently. With the Bulls dealing with a ton of injuries Vucevic has been called upon to step up and produce. For the most part, he has answered that call and is back to filling up the stat sheet. In his last five games, Vucevic is averaging 24 points per game. He has two 30+ point games this month and is shooting over 47 percent from the field in February. 

LaMelo Ball OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (+130)

While Ball is only averaging 2.3 3-pointers made so far in February, it's not for lack of trying. Ball is not afraid to jack up a shot from behind the arc and is averaging 6.3 attempts per game this month and 7.1 per game on the season.

Ball has upped his shooting percentage from deep recently and is shooting 36 percent in his last four games. Three of those games saw Ball hit 2+ treys. Furthermore, the Hornets are the 23rd ranked perimeter defense in the NBA and allow teams to shoot 35.9 percent from downtown. I’m willing to take a chance on Ball to get home from behind the arc tonight at these odds.
