3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Bulls vs. Knicks (DeMar DeRozan to Pick Apart New York's Defense)
By Matt De Saro
The Chicago Bulls hit the road tonight to take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
3 Best Prop Bets for Bulls vs. Knicks
- Julius Randle OVER 2.5 Turnovers (-140)
- Evan Fournier OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-160)
- DeMar DeRozan OVER 27.5 Points (-125)
Julius Randle OVER 2.5 Turnovers (-140)
Randle leads the Knicks in scoring, rebounds, and assists this year. But, he also coughs up way more turnover than any of his other teammates. In fact, he is ranked 10th in the NBA in overall turnovers. This doesn’t make him a bad player mind you.
LeBron James leads the league in turnovers for reference. But it does mean that he’s a good bet to give a few away tonight against a strong Bulls defense.
Evan Fournier OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-160)
Fournier’s 3-point shooting is one of the lone bright spots for the Knicks in 2022. Despite playing for a trash team, Fournier continues to contribute with his skills from behind the arc. Over his last six games, Fournier is averaging 10 3-pointers attempted per game and 4.1 makes in his last six games. He’s also gone over this total in six of his last eight games. The odds might not be all that attractive, but Fournier is a near-lock to go over.
DeMar DeRozan OVER 27.5 Points (-125)
I will admit that DeRozan does appear to be slowing down a bit as the season winds down. After averaging 34.2 points per game in February, DeRozan is now averaging 24.3 points per game this month. That is a massive shift in stats for any player.
However, the one thing whose stats don’t take into account is just how bad the New York Knicks defense is. In their last eight games in a row, the Knicks have allowed at least one player on the opposing team to score 30+ points.
That streak could extend further back, but that was as far as I wanted to dig. The point is, that DeRozan is the Bull's best scorer right now and should enjoy a strong evening from the field.
