The Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks will face off in another solid matchup on Thursday night, and I’ve got my eye on some player props for this matchup.
The Hawks may be without Trae Young (missed shootaround, ankle) and are definitely down John Collins, so how should we bet specific players in this game?
Here are my three favorite props at WynnBET Sportsbook:
Best Prop Bets for Bulls vs. Hawks
- DeMar DeRozan OVER 28.5 Points (-125)
- Nikola Vucevic OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-125)
- Danilo Gallinari to Make 2+ 3-Pointers (-135)
DeMar DeRozan OVER 28.5 Points (-125)
DeMar DeRozan’s 35-point streak came to an end, but I think he’s got some value in this prop to get back on track against a bottom five defense in the Atlanta Hawks.
DeRozan is averaging 28.2 points per game this season, and he’s gone over this number in 11 of his last 13 games. I’m not going to start fading him after one bad game, and I think Atlanta is vulnerable to getting destroyed by DeRozan and Zach LaVine tonight.
Nikola Vucevic OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-125)
John Collins is out in this game for Atlanta, and there’s a chance that Trae Young could be out as well, which is going to spell trouble for the Hawks’ offense.
I think Vucevic will benefit from that on the glass, as he’s put up 11 or more rebounds in nine of his last 14 games, averaging 12.5 boards per game over that stretch.
The Hawks are just 13th in rebounding percentage this season, and Collins’ absence likely knocks them even further down that list.
Danilo Gallinari to Make 2+ 3-Pointers (-135)
Danilo Gallinari has hit two or more 3-pointers in four of his last seven games, and he may have an expanded role on offense if Young (ankle) can’t go in this matchup.
Gallinari has started six straight games since Collins went down, and he’s taking 4.7 3-pointers per game over that stretch.
The Bulls have struggled defensively as of late, and they allow over 11 3-pointers per game. I think Gallo has a solid night for a banged up Atlanta team.
