Who doesn’t want to dabble in the player prop waters for Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics?

There are plenty of props up at WynnBET Sportsbook, and there’s a few I really like on both sides.

I’m going to be no fun on Thursday night, rooting for three different UNDER bets, but here’s what I’m eyeing for Game 1:

Best NBA Prop Bets for Celtics vs. Warriors Game 1

  • Steph Curry UNDER 27.5 Points (-115)
  • Kevon Looney UNDER 9.5 Rebounds (-135)
  • Jaylen Brown UNDER 24.5 Points (-125)

Steph Curry UNDER 27.5 Points (-115)

Steph Curry has struggled against Marcus Smart in his career, shooting just 37 percent from the field and 30 percent from 3.

Smart and the rest of Boston’s defense will likely double and swarm Curry every chance it gets, which means the rest of the Warriors are going to need to step up. Steph doesn’t force shots for the sake of getting one up, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he falls just short of this number in Game 1.

Kevon Looney UNDER 9.5 Rebounds (-135)

Kevon Looney has been great on the glass in the playoffs, averaging 7.7 rebounds per game, but he has cleared this number just four times in 16 playoff games.

Most of those came against the Dallas Mavericks, who don’t really have an inside presence, but Boston is much bigger than the Warriors with Robert Williams, Al Horford and Jayson Tatum in the frontcourt.

I’ll bet Looney will come back to earth in Game 1.

Jaylen Brown UNDER 24.5 Points (-125)

Speaking of Jaylen Brown, I’m going to fade his points prop in Game 1 with the line at 24.5.

This is a pretty simple handicap, as Brown has failed to clear 24.5 points in 13 of his 18 playoff games this year, despite averaging 22.9 points per game.

With Gary Payton II back in the lineup for the Warriors, I think Golden State can make things tough on Brown where he falls just below this number.
