3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Clippers vs. Nuggets (Look for Jokic to Dominate LA for Fourth Time)
By Matt De Saro
Western Conference rivals, the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers, are set to do battle tonight in The Centennial State. Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
3 Best Prop Bets for Clippers vs. Nuggets
- Nikola Jokic OVER 26.5 Points (-105)
- Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 Rebounds
- Reggie Jackson 25+ Points + Assists (-135)
Nikola Jokic OVER 26.5 Points (-105)
Jokic is coming off a very disappointing performance on Sunday against the Boston Celtics. The MVP candidate scored “just” 23 points to go with eight rebounds and four assists. It was the first game this month that he hadn’t earned a double-double and his lowest assist total in weeks.
But, the Clippers present a fantastic bounce-back opportunity for Jokic to get back into the groove. Jokic already destroyed this team with a 49/10/14 triple-double the last time they met. While a similar game would be a stretch to expect, I do like his chances to go over this scoring total.
Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 Rebounds
As mentioned above, the last time these two teams met, Jokic snagged 14 rebounds in 41 minutes. While I don’t expect him to see more than 36 tonight, his chances to go over 12.5 are still very good. The Clippers are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league in terms of rate. So, it's no wonder that Jokic is 3-0 in this game when playing the Clippers.
Reggie Jackson 25+ Points + Assists (-135)
The Clippers veteran point guard is doing a great job of filling the stat sheet on a nightly basis for LA. He is averaging 17 points and 4.8 assists per game this season. But, Jackson has upped those numbers to 18.7 and 6.3 in March. Furthermore, Jackson has had success against the Nuggets and put up 28 points and 12 rebounds the last time they met.
