The Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks square off at Madison Square Garden tonight in a game between two struggling Eastern Conference rivals. Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

The Hawks’ starting small-forward is not usually a go-to scoring option. However, when Hunter is called on to score, the dude abides. He’s been getting the call more and more lately. This is due to defenses focusing all of their attention on Trae Young. This leaves the door open for guys like Hunter to shine. Hunter is averaging 15.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game so far in March. Hunter has three 20+ point games in his last nine and has gone over this total in three of his last four. 

Evan Fournier OVER 16.5 Points (+100)

Fournier has the luxury of playing a very soft Hawks defense tonight. I expect him to make the most of that matchup. For starters, Fournier is deadly from behind the arc. He is averaging 3.2 threes made per game and 13.4 points per game so far in March. The Hawks, on the other hand, rank 26th in the opponent's three-point shooting percentage. They often seem uninterested in defending the perimeter and Fournier will make them pay for that. He has gone over this total in two of his last four games -- once against the Jazz and once against the Nets.

Alec Burks 20+ Points + Rebounds (-135)

In much the same way that the Knicks' defense will be focused on Young, the Hawks will be all over RJ Barrett. Julius Randle is out tonight with a sore quad and Barrett will be their go-to guy tonight. The injury to Randle opens up more opportunities for Burks. He has scored in double digits in five of his last six games and is averaging 6.4 rebounds per game. While those averages are a little low for this prop to hit, I think the writing is on the wall for him to go off tonight.
