3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Jazz vs. Clippers
By Reed Wallach
A pair of playoff foes meet in Los Angeles when the Utah Jazz take on the Clippers.
The Clippers are hopeful that Tuesday night will mark the return of star forward Paul George from an elbow injury, but let's take a look at the other players making up this matchup and find some value in player props.

3 Best Prop Bets for Jazz vs. Clippers
- Donovan Mitchell OVER 30.5 Points + Assists (-141)
- Nicolas Batum OVER 1.5 3-pointers (+135)
- Royce O'Neale OVER 2.5 3-pointers (+280)
Donovan Mitchell OVER 30.5 Points + Assists (-141)
The total might be low in this matchup, 217.5, but I think we are primed for a big Mitchell outing. After scoring just 12 points in a loss to Dallas over the weekend, and the Jazz mired in a four game losing streak, this is a good buy low opportunity on the guard.
Mitchell cleared this total in the four games prior to that dud in Dallas, mainly by points, but I like getting some cushion that if he plays the role of facilitator he is still in line to get over this number. Mitchell is averaging 26 points per game and nearly 6 assists per game in the month of March on 21 shots per game. The volume is there and I expect we see the results on Tuesday night.
Nicolas Batum OVER 1.5 3-pointers (+135)
My next two plus money plays are all about volume. Batum averages nearly five 3-point tries per game in the spaced out Clippers offense. However, a ton of those numbers have come without George in the lineup.
If the star wing is back, expect Batum to be a benefactor of the attention George requires. Batum is going to be able to hang on the perimeter and cash in on more open opportunities with PG-13's strong passing as the lead initator of the Clippers offense. The French born wing is shooting nearly 40% from 3 and I'm banking on some extra tries with the rejuvenated LAC offense if George is good to go on Tuesdya.
Royce O'Neale OVER 2.5 3-pointers (+280)
Here's another volume based play. O'Neale is chucking from deep and hitting at a high clip. The Jazz forward is shooting 34% on more than 5 attempts per game over his last 10 games. Utah still ranks as the No. 1 offense in the league despite the four game losing streak and I'll take the nice payout on O'Neale having a strong output.
Yes, if George is back in the lineup the Clippers defense should improve, but O'Neale is a catch and shoot threat that should not be bothered by the former All Star's presence. This number is too juicy not to play given the fact that we know O'Neale is going to get the requisite chances.
