3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Lakers vs. Blazers
By Matt De Saro
The Portland Trail Blazers are set to host the visiting Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the Moda Center. Now that LeBron James and Anthony Davis are back on the court together, the Lakers are getting healthy at the right time and are 8-point road favorites tonight. Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
3 Best Prop Bets for Lakers vs. Blazers
- Russell Westbrook OVER 2.5 Turnovers (-145)
- Anthony Davis OVER 34.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-120)
- LeBron James OVER 1.5 Steals (+104)
Russell Westbrook OVER 2.5 Turnovers (-145)
Westbrook is one of the best players in the game. But even superstars have their bad habits and Westbrook’s is his turnover rate. It’s not something that affects the outcome of games too much, but the Lakers’ PG is averaging 4.1 turnovers per game. That is the fifth most in the league. Over his last five games, he has gone under this total just once and is averaging 3.5 turnovers per game so far in February.
Anthony Davis OVER 34.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-120)
I took Davis on this prop last night and he failed to come through with “just” 22 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. However, I am not going to be deterred. First off, that game would have gone over tonight’s total and I would consider it one of his poorer games since returning from injury. In the three games prior to last night, Davis scored at least 28 points and had at least 15 rebounds in each. I think he returns to his dominant form tonight against the Trail Blazers' 26th ranked scoring defense.
LeBron James OVER 1.5 Steals (+104)
LeBron James is known for many things but steals aren't usually one of them. Yet, James leads the Lakers in swipes and I like his chances to nab a pair tonight. He has gone over this total twice in his last four games and the Trail Blazers are not the most careful team when it comes to turnovers. Portland ranks 24th in assist to turnover ratio and I think James will capitalize on this tonight.
