UPDATE: DeMar DeRozan is inactive for tonight's game after being placed in the NBA's COVID-19 Health & Safety protocols.

The Denver Nuggets hit the road on Monday night to take on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

Denver is a 3.5-point underdog in this game at WynnBET, but the Nuggets are coming off a dominant win over the New York Knicks on Saturday.

Here are three player props that I like in this matchup:

Best Prop Bets for Nuggets vs. Bulls

  • DeMar DeRozan OVER 25.5 Points (-105)
  • Aaron Gordon OVER 13.5 Points (-125)
  • Will Barton UNDER 15.5 Points (-135)

DeMar DeRozan OVER 25.5 Points (-105)

DeMar DeRozan has eclipsed this total in four straight games, and he’s averaging 26.4 points per game this season.

Chicago has run the offense through the veteran swingman this season, as DeRozan has attempted an average of 19.0 shots per game. With that kind of usage and the fact that he’s shooting 49.8 percent from the field, I think DeRozan can take advantage of the Nuggets’ No. 16 defense.

I’ll keep taking the over on DeRozan until he regresses.

Aaron Gordon OVER 13.5 Points (-125)

Aaron Gordon is going to have a bigger role for the remainder of the 2021-22 season now that Michael Porter Jr. is out for the year.

Gordon has hit the over on this number in three of his last four games. He missed it on Saturday against the Knicks, but he played just 24:52 due to foul trouble.

The Bulls are solid defensively, but Gordon is taking more shots (11 of his last 13 games with double-digit shot attempts) in this offense than he did last year.

Will Barton UNDER 15.5 Points (-135)

Similar to Gordon, Will Barton is going to need to step up for Denver with MPJ and Jamal Murray out of the lineup.

However, Barton has gone under this number in five of his last six games including three straight.

Chicago does have the No. 7 defensive rating in the NBA, and I think Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso can give him some trouble in this game.
