The New Orleans Pelicans will host the San Antonio Spurs tonight in the play-in tournament. With the final spot in the West on the line, this is a must-win game for both teams. Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

3 Best Prop Bets for Spurs vs. Pelicans

  • CJ McCollum OVER 5.5 Assists (+120)
  • Jonas Valanciunas OVER 34.5 Points + Rebounds (+150)
  • Deounte Murray OVER 9.5 Assists (+105)

CJ McCollum OVER 5.5 Assists (+120)

McCollim has always been a capable scorer, but his passing metrics have shot through the roof since being traded to the Pelicans. He is averaging one full assist more this year than any other year in his career while he was with Portland. His 5.8 APG has me feeling very good about his chances to go over tonight. Especially with such favorable odds. McCollum has gone over this total in almost 70 percent of his 26 games this season.

Jonas Valanciunas OVER 34.5 Points + Rebounds (+150)

This is a bit of a risk, but I can’t pass up these odds on Valanciuna tonight. One reason I like Valanciunas in this spot actually has nothing to do with him. Brandon Ingram is listed as questionable for this game with a hamstring injury. I expect him to play, but he won't be close to 100 percent.

Enter Valanciunas. He was dealing with injuries of his own down the stretch but got a lot of time off to rest up. He played just 28 combined minutes in his last two games and expect him to have fresher legs than most tonight. Before getting injured, the big man was averaging 18.5 points and 11.7 rebounds per game in March. I’m willing to bet he steps up tonight and puts up big numbers in this win-or-go-home game. The Spurs, meanwhile, have one of the worst defensive rebound percentages in the NBA. Valanciunas is one of the better offensive rebounders in the league and could clean up on the glass.

Dejounte Murray OVER 9.5 Assists (+105)

This is another plus-money pick that I love the value of. Murray averaged 9.2 dimes during the regular season and has 35 combined assists in his last four games. Admittedly, he has been a little inconsistent lately, with ten total assists in his last two games combined. But, Murray has at least nine rebounds in all three games between the Spurs and Pelicans this year.
