3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Suns vs. Clippers
By Matt De Saro
Western Conference rivals battle tonight in the City of Angels when the Suns and Clippers clash.
The Suns are a surprising 1-point favorite against the Clippers on the road, so let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
3 Best Prop Bets for Suns vs. Clippers
- Paul George OVER 2.5 Threes Made (-130)
- Paul George OVER 1.5 Steals (-120)
- Ivica Zubac OVER 19.5 Points + Rebounds (+110)
Paul George OVER 2.5 Threes Made (-130)
While George hasn’t exactly set the world on fire since his return to action, he is dropping a lot of threes. He went 5-for-7 on Sunday against the Pelicans and 6-for-9 against the Jazz on Tuesday. It’s a good sign after such an extended layoff and I think George stays hot tonight. On the season, George is averaging 2.9 threes made per game. I realize that the Suns are the best perimeter defense in the league. But, they also have no reason to care about this game at all. They already clinched the best record in the NBA, and have an eight-game lead in the Western Conference. It makes a lot of sense for them to just rest up before the postseason.
Paul George OVER 1.5 Steals (-120)
Another area of the game where George hasn’t missed a beat is in steals. George averages 2.1 steals per game but has been extra tenacious since getting back on the court. In his three games after missing three months, George has gone over this total in all three. He has nine total steals in those three games including four against the Utah Jazz last Tuesday.
Ivica Zubac OVER 19.5 Points + Rebounds (+110)
Zubac has been playing quite well down the stretch and I want to take advantage of that hot streak tonight. The Clippers’ center is coming off a monster 16 point, 14 rebound game. Well, it was a monster game for him at least. It was the second game in his last three outings that Zubac went over this total. I am not so sure the Suns are going to push too hard in this game and there could be a lot of garbage time work for Zubac to enjoy.
