The Hawks managed to avoid going down 0-3 against the Miami Heat in the opening round of the playoffs. But, they won by just a single point and the Heat have looked much better in the first two games.

Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

3 Best Prop Bets for Heat vs. Hawks

  • Kevin Huerter OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (+100)
  • Trae Young OVER 4.5 Turnovers (-110)
  • Jimmy Butler OVER 1.5 Steals (-135)

Kevin Huerter OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (+100)

This pick has a bit more to do with volume than it does with Huerter’s actual 3-point percentage. . He’s made just 29.6 percent of his treys during the playoffs so far.

However, he's taken seven per game in his first three playoff contests. He went over this mark on Tuesday in Game 2 after going 3-for-7. I’m willing to bet he continues to shoot from deep at a high rate and am hoping it’s enough to get us over this total.

Trae Young OVER 4.5 Turnovers (-110)

The Atlanta Hawks have been forced to rely on Trae Young to be the driving force behind their offense. While Young is happy to comply with gobs of points, he has been racking up an awful lot of turnovers during the playoffs.

In fact, he is averaging a whopping 6.3 turnovers per game in his last three contests. The Heat defense has been good all year and it appears they have Young a bit flustered. He has gone over this total twice in three games with six turnovers in Game 1 and ten in Game 2.

Jimmy Butler OVER 1.5 Steals (-135)

Butler has been one of the reasons for Young’s turnover issues as one of the Heat’s elite defenders. Butler has gone over this total in each of the first three games of the year with totals of three, two, and two.

Butler is averaging a full steal more per game during the postseason and I think this trend continues into Game 4.
