It’s a quiet night in the NBA with just two games on the schedule but the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers could make up for it with an amazing matchup.

Tyrese Maxey continues to punish opposing teams who don’t step up and defend him on the perimeter. He’s gone from a relative nobody to the biggest name on a team with a lot of superstar talent.

Maxey has shown his ability to shoot in the right situation and is averaging 23 points and 3.5 treys made per game so far this month. Maxey is coming off a 2-for-5 game against the Bulls but went over this total in the four games prior. Gonna stick with the hot hand tonight and bet Maxey has another big night from behind the arc.

Maxey does more than just drop bombs from downtown, he’s also a capable passer. Maxey is averaging 4.5 assists per game and has at least three in three of his last four games. As far as points go, Maxey has hit this prop twice on them alone in his last four games.

The added assists were just a bonus. He did fail to cover this number in his last two games but against two very tough defenses in the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat. The Nets don’t have a great defense and saw Maxey drop 25 on them back in December. 

Joel Embiid 45+ Points + Rebounds (-120)

Joel Embiid currently leads the NBA in points per game at 29.7 and sits eighth in rebounding at 11.2. But, if you can believe it, Embiid has been playing even better than those averages lately.

He’s coming off a 43-point, 14-rebound game against the Bulls. He went 22/15 the game prior against a very strong Head defense. The Nets don’t have that kind of defense and Embiid has scored no less than 32 points against them this year.
