Monday’s NBA schedule features a game between the top-ranked team in the West and the second-ranked team in the East. The Phoenix Suns hit the road to the windy city to take on the Chicago Bulls in what should be one of the more exciting games of the night.

Peter Dewey already put together a betting preview for this game here. I, in turn, wanted to take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

3 Best Prop Bets for Suns vs. Bulls

  • Chris Paul OVER 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)
  • Devin Booker OVER 2.5 Threes Made (-120)
  • DeMar DeRozan OVER 33.5 Points + Assists (-120)

Chris Paul OVER 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)

Chris Paul continues to be the Suns player that fills up the stat sheet on a nightly basis. While he doesn’t lead the team in points or rebounds, he is the player who powers this offense. He is averaging 14.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 10.4 assists which alone would come within one point of this total.

So, this boils down to whether or not I expect Paul to have an above-average game against the Bulls. Sadly, as a Chicago fan, I have to say I think he will. The Bulls defense has been hemorrhaging points lately to point guards including a 24 point game by Dejounte Murray and a 19 point game to Fred VanVleet. Both of those players garnered nine rebounds in those games.

Making matters worse is the fact that the Bulls are short in the PG department with Lonzo Ball still out and Coby White day-to-day.

Devin Booker OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-120)

Booker is coming off one of his worst offensive performances of the season and managed just 11 points against the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

It was just the third time since December that he scored less than 12 points. It was also the second game in a row that Booker failed to shoot over 17 percent from deep or make more than one 3-pointer.

Booker had at least three in his previous three games and is averaging 3.1 3-pointers made per game since the start of December. With the Bulls’ backcourt banged up, they are low on perimeter defenders and I think Booker bounces back from deep and drops a few treys.

DeMar DeRozan OVER 33.5 Points + Assists (-120)

DeRozan has been picking up the slack left in the wake of injuries to Ball and Alex Caruso and is coming off a 45 points game against the Philadelphia 76ers. DeRozan added seven assists and nine rebounds in what was one of his better all-around performances of the year.

His point total alone went over tonight’s total by 11.5. It was his third game in a row scoring over 28 points with at least seven assists. The Bulls will have a tough time keeping up with Phoenix tonight and DeRozan will be counted upon to put up big numbers again.
