3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Thunder vs. Knicks
By Matt De Saro
The New York Knicks head into this home game as 10.5 point favorites against the ailing Oklahoma City Thunder. While OKC is a bad team and the Knicks are strong at home, we’re going to focus on the players here and not the teams. Let’s take a look at some player prop odds for this matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
3 Best Prop Bets for Thunder vs. Knicks
- Julius Randle OVER 40.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-120)
- Josh Giddey OVER 0.5 Double Double (+250)
- Josh Giddey OVER 3.5 Turnovers (+110)
Julius Randle OVER 40.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-120)
Randle has been doing wonders for the Knicks and in turn, the bettors that continue to back him. As one such bettor who is having good luck with Randle, I’m going to ride him again tonight against the lowly Thunder. He has been lighting up opponents lately, with an average of nearly 30 points per game in his last five games. They were not against scrub teams either with the Warriors, Nuggets, and Blazers the three most recent victims of Randle. He scored 28 points in each of those games with an absurd 42 rebounds to go along with 19 assists. The Thunder defense is not as bad as many might assume considering their record, but Randle has already beaten up on much better squads.
Josh Giddey OVER 0.5 Double Double (+250)
While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander remains out for the Thunder, Giddey has done a good job filling in with extra minutes. Some nights, he’s been quite a bit more than good. In fact, Giddey is coming off his second triple-double of the season on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls. Giddey needed only 33 minutes to score 11 points, nab 12 rebounds, and dish out 10 assists. He went 2-for-2 from the Charity stripe and went 1-for-2 from downtown. It was Giddey’s second double-double in his last four games, missing one by just a single point.
Josh Giddey OVER 3.5 Turnovers (+110)
As Giddy's minutes have grown, so have his average turnovers per game. This makes sense with the added responsibility but I don’t think the oddsmakers have adjusted to Giddy's extra giveaways. He has gone over this total in six of his last eight games dating back to Jan. 31. The Knicks force an average of 13.5 turnovers per game and I’m willing to bet Giddey has at least four of those turnovers tonight.
