The 48-28 Boston Celtics host the 43-32 Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at 6:00 p.m. EST as both teams jockey for seeding position in the playoff race.

BetSided's Peter Dewey wrote why he loved the over and I'm in agreement with him. If the game is going over, that means there's plenty of props that give us some value and I've identified a few that stand out.

Thanks to our friends at WynnBET Sportsbook, let's check out the best NBA prop bets for today's Timberwolves vs Celtics matchup:

3 Best Prop Bets For Timberwolves vs Celtics

Marcus Smart Over 6.5 Assists (-145)

Since the All-Star break, Marcus Smart has taken on more of a playmaking responsibility and facilitating role. He's ninth in the NBA in assists per game since the break and is coming off a remarkable 13-assist performance against the Jazz.

He's cleared this prop in eight of his last 11 games and with a fast pace expected tonight, I think he goes over again.

Jayson Tatum 4+ 3-Pointers (-135)

Tatum is on fire. He's shooting 46.1% from beyond the arc in March on nearly 10 attempts per game and an obscene 55.3% over his last five contests.

The Timberwolves have allowed the second-most 3-point attempts per game in the league during March (40.2) and that means a healthy dose of Tatum. He's made 23 combined 3-pointers in his last four games and I think he clears this easily.

Jaylen Brown Over 24.5 Points (-125)

Tatum's running mate is playing fantastic offensively of late too. He's averaging 27.4 points per game over his last five and has cleared this prop each time. As Smart has shifted to more of a facilitating role, Brown has been a huge beneficiary.

Brown has a 32.6% usage rate in those previous five games and is averaging 18.8 shot attempts per game. With the torrid pace the Timberwolves play at, Brown's transition game will have an opportunity to flourish and I think he clears this prop for the sixth straight time.
