The Golden State Warriors hit the road on Monday night to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Paycom Center.

BetSided editor Peter Dewey already put together a betting preview for this game so let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown instead. All odds are courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

3 Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs. Thunder

  • Josh Giddey OVER 15.5 Points (-104)
  • Klay Thompson OVER 2.5 3s Made (+100)
  • Josh Giddey OVER 3.5 Turnovers (-108)

Josh Giddey OVER 15.5 Points (-104)

Giddey is in the perfect situation tonight to have a strong game in the scoring department for the Thunder. While he is not a guy I usually target for these articles, tonight is an exception. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort both out on Saturday, Giddey scored 24 points in 38 minutes against the Kings.

It was his highest point total of the year and the most minutes he has played in a game that didn’t go to overtime. The Warriors are a tougher test than the Kings but somebody needs to step up and keep things competitive. I think the rookie out of Australia’s NBL is the guy again tonight. He does need to take better perimeter shots, but from two he is shooting over 51.1 percent in his last three games. The spread for this game is 12.5 so Giddey might be able to rack up some late points in garbage time.

Josh Giddey OVER 3.5 Turnovers (-108)

While I do expect Giddey to use his extra attempts tonight to put up big numbers, there is a downside to his expanded usage. Giddey is a turnover machine and leads the team with an average of 3.1 giveaways per game. However, since his role expanded, that number has grown to 4.5 per game. If he sees the extra work tonight that I expect him to, there is a good chance he coughs up enough balls to go over this total.

Klay Thompson OVER 2.5 Threes Made (+100)

Thompson has now played 10 games since returning after two seasons on the bench due to injuries. Jan. 9 marked his first action since Jun. 13, 2019.

Thompson played 20 minutes in that game in what appears to be his basement for minutes right now. He has yet to play less than 20 minutes and has seen at least 26 in his last four games in a row. Thompson is also coming off a 23 point game on Thursday against the Kings where he drained 7-of-9 3-pointers. In games that Thompson plays at least 26 minutes this year, he is averaging 4.2 deep balls made per game.

This game against the Thunder represents a strong matchup for everyone on the Warriors to shine.
