We had a big week of scoring, with the OVER hitting in 50% of the games. That’s huge considering the over has only hit in 41.2% of the games this season. Is that a possible trend we have to look out for moving forward?

Whether overs are about to start cashing or not, there are several teams that are a good bet every week against the over.

Here are the top three in the league right now.

Best OVER Teams In NFL

Detroit Lions (6-3)

Just as I predicted, the Lions’ defense regressed right back to its normal state – a bad one. Detroit gave up 30 points for the fifth time this season. The Lions have the 32nd ranked scoring defense in the league, as well as a top 10 scoring offense. They don’t play complimentary football, but that’s perfect for betting the OVER.

Philadelphia Eagles (6-3)

Philadelphia only scored 21 points, but it was clear it had a lot more in the tank. The Eagles had three giveaways – two that would’ve put them in direct scoring position. The Eagles have been one of the best scoring teams all season long. If they can hold onto the football moving forward, they will handle a big part of the overs themselves.

The Eagles will face a rejuvenated Colts team this week and will have to go on the road. There is a lot of potential here for another explosive game.

Chicago Bears (6-4)

Justin Fields’ second half comeback has been an amazing thing to watch. He’s tearing defenses apart with his arm and legs, and nobody knows how to stop him right now. The Bears have hit the over in four of their last five games and in five of their last six. Until Justin Fields cools off, it feels mandatory to back them on the over.
