UNDERs continue to cash at an amazing rate this season, but let’s find the value in betting on the OVER. There are several teams that are great against the OVER, and they have a lot in common. Of the three teams we’re about to discuss, all of them have losing records, bad defenses and good offenses.

The formula has worked with these teams up until this point, so let’s dive further into why they are good OVER bets.

Here are the best teams to bet the over on.

Las Vegas Raiders (4-1-1)

The Raiders are the first sub-.500 team we have to talk about. After going 0-1-1 against the OVER in the first two games, the Raiders have hit the OVER in each of the last four games. Las Vegas has the perfect formula for backing OVERs. The Raiders are third in scoring, while being 26th in opponents points per game. Right now, their combined averages equal 52.2 points per game – which would go over many totals in a season defined by UNDERs.

This week, they face another top 10 offense, so the OVER once again is in a great position to cash.

Cleveland Browns (5-2)

Cleveland has lost four straight games, dropping it to 2-5 on the year. However, the OVERs continue to cash. The Browns have a similar set up to the Raiders because they have top 10 offense and a struggling defense. Cleveland is 28th in opponent points per game, but 10th in offensive points per game.

When Nick Chubb gets going, the Browns offense is electric. They haven’t been able to win games because of the defense and lack of passing game, but the OVER is in play every week they play.

This week, the Browns have to try and stop the Bengals, who just put up 35 points last week. Good luck to them.

New Orleans Saints (5-2)

Who would’ve thought that in 2022 an Andy Dalton led team would be one of the highest scoring teams in the league?

New Orleans is seventh in offense, scoring 25 points per game. Even with Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry missing time this year, New Orleans has been able to rely on rookie Chris Olave to push the ball downfield.

Behind Taysom Hill and Alvin Kamara, the Saints’ running game is also one of the best in the league – ranking 9th in yards per carry.

The Saints' defense used to be a strong point of the team. Now, it’s the second-worst scoring defense in the league. While that’s terrible for Saints fans, it makes them one of the best teams to back on the OVER.
