Are you ready for some football?

NFL fans can’t ask for much more to open the 2022 regular season, as the Los Angeles Rams begin their quest to defend their Super Bowl title against the Buffalo Bills in what should be an electrifying matchup.

The Bills are favorites to win the Super Bowl this season, and they come into this matchup as slight favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook. Personally, I’m picking the Rams to pull off the upset, but if you don’t want to pick a side, you can always bet some props!

Let’s break down my three favorites for Thursday night's matchup:

Best Prop Bets for Bills vs. Rams

  • Gabriel Davis Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+145)
  • Cam Akers OVER 12.5 Rushing Attempts (-130)
  • Cooper Kupp OVER 7.5 Receptions (-102)

Gabriel Davis Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+145)

The Gabriel Davis hype train won’t stop this offseason, and I think he has solid value to find the end zone in what should be a high-scoring game.

The total for this game sits at 52, and Davis, as the No. 3 receiver for Buffalo, caught 11 touchdowns in 18 games last season (including playoffs).

Davis now takes over as the No. 2 option with Emmanuel Sanders gone, and he’s already shown his big-play ability in the preseason.

This Buffalo offense can support multiple pass catchers, and if Jalen Ramsey shadows Stefon Diggs, it may be the Gabe Davis show in Week 1.

Cam Akers OVER 12.5 Rushing Attempts (-130)

I’m surprised that this number is this low now that Cam Akers is healthy after dealing with a torn Achilles last season. Akers returned in the playoffs for the Rams, and he recorded 17, 24, 13 and 13 carries over four games, despite being largely ineffective (2.67 yards per carry).

With Akers healthy and Sean McVay loving to establish the run early, I think we see the third-year back touch the ball closer to 15-20 times in Week 1.

Cooper Kupp OVER 7.5 Receptions (-102)

What is a Rams game without betting a Cooper Kupp over?

The Bills won’t have their top corner, Tre’Davious White, in this game as he still is recovering from a torn ACL.

Last season, Kupp averaged 8.5 catches and 11.2 targets per game in the regular season. Matthew Stafford is going to look his way early and often, even with Allen Robinson II on the roster.

If Van Jefferson (questionable) misses this game, Kupp could be an absolute target monster in Week 1.
