Third time’s a charm, right?

The New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls face off for the third time this season on Thursday at Madison Square Garden. New York is a two-point underdog in this matchup at WynnBET Sportsbook.

While I’ve made a pick on the game in our preview, I didn’t get a chance to go into any props. So, here are my three favorites for tonight’s Eastern Conference showdown:

Best Prop Bets for Bulls vs. Knicks

  • DeMar DeRozan OVER 24.5 Points (-110)
  • Julius Randle OVER 21.5 Points (-120)
  • Chicago Bulls Third Quarter Moneyline (-115)

DeMar DeRozan OVER 24.5 Points (-110)

DeMar DeRozan is averaging 25.5 points per game against the Knicks in their two matchups this season, and he dropped 31 points on 10-of-20 shooting his last game against New York.

DeRozan has put up 28 points in back-to-back games, and is shooting 48.9 percent from the field and averaging 25.9 points per game this season. I think DeRozan has another big game tonight, especially if RJ Barrett (illness) doesn’t go for the Knicks.

Julius Randle OVER 21.5 Points (-120)

Julius Randle scored 34 points in the last meeting between these two teams, and he’s coming off of one of his best games of the year against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.

Randle was extremely aggressive against Brooklyn, not settling for jump shots, and he faces a Bulls team that lacks a true shot blocker in its starting lineup.

Chicago can switch several defenders on Randle, but he has the size advantage over Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan. I like him to stay on track with another 20-point game.

Chicago Bulls Third Quarter Moneyline (-115)

If you’ve watched the Knicks this season, you know they are dreadful in third quarters, posting the NBA’s eighth worst point differential (minus-2.4) in the third.

New York also has a minus-10.0 net rating in third quarters this season, which is good for 25th in the NBA. Simply put, the Knicks come out flat in the second half almost every night.

I’ll take Chicago to win the third quarter at -115.
