The Los Angeles Dodgers’ backs are against the wall in Game 3 of the NLCS against the Atlanta Braves

The Dodgers lost Games 1 and 2 in heartbreaking fashion, allowing the Braves to walk off in both contests.

Los Angeles sends ace Walker Buehler to the mound in Game 3 against Atlanta veteran Charlie Morton. Both pitchers have been impressive this postseason, leading their teams through the NLDS.

WynnBET Sportsbook has the Dodgers as -174 favorites on the moneyline in this matchup. Let’s take a look at some prop bets to make in tonight’s crucial Game 3:

Best Prop Bets for Braves vs. Dodgers Game 3

Walker Buehler OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (+115)

Buehler is going to need to give the Dodgers some length in this game after they burnt their bullpen in the opening two games of the series.

In his lone start against the Braves this season, Buehler struck out five batters over seven innings of work, but the Braves have been striking out a lot in this series.

Atlanta has been set down on strikes 26 times through two games, and it averages 9.05 strikeouts per game this season (23rd in MLB). If Buehler can deliver with some length for Los Angeles, I like him to go over this number.

First Three Innings Run Line Braves +0.5 (-140)

I’m expecting this to be a pitchers duel based on the matchup, and that’s why I’ll back the Braves at +0.5 on the run line in the first three innings.

A tie game through the opening three frames would lead to a win on this prop, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Atlanta’s high-powered offense strikes early with all the momentum from the first few games.

Charlie Morton OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (+125)

Morton has been a strikeout machine this postseason.

The veteran has picked up 14 strikeouts over 9.1 playoff innings this year, and he’s had some solid success against Los Angeles in 2021 as well.

Morton made two starts against the Dodgers, and he was able to strike out 13 batters in 11.0 innings. At plus odds, I like both him and Buehler to hit the over on the K’s props tonight.
