The NLDS is back after a day off, as the Philadelphia Phillies host the Atlanta Braves with the series even at one game apiece. With the Guardians-Yankees make up game in the Bronx today, we have a loaded day of baseball. What’s a better way to spend the last day of the work week than betting your way through the day. Granted that’s how I spend every day of my work week, but maybe it can be a little treat for you. If we’re really gonna do it right, then we need to take advantage of the prop market and cash in big. Here are my three favorites for the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies Game 3.

Braves vs. Phillies Odds, Run Line and Total

Best Prop Bets Today for Braves vs. Phillies (NLDS Game 3)

  • Aaron Nola Under 6.5 Total Strikeouts (+105)
  • Ronald Acuna Jr. Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
  • Braves-Phillies NRFI (-174)

Aaron Nola Under 6.5 Total Strikeouts (+110)

Nola had a great outing against St. Louis in the Wild Card round, he went seven scoreless and still only managed six strikeouts. This is a really high total to have the under at plus odds. It is set this high because he had 41 strikeouts against Atlanta in 34.0 innings this year. However, I feel that the playoffs are a different story altogether and the Braves offense has looked effective in this series. Even Zack Wheeler only had five strikeouts in six innings in Game 2.

Ronald Acuna Jr. Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)

I’ll admit that this choice is a bit cherry-picked. Nola has made five starts against the Braves this year and of the two that took place in September, Acuna Jr. played in one and had six total bases. A double and a home run both off Nola. I’m trusting recent success for this bet and feel good about it at decent odds.

Braves-Phillies NRFI (-140)

This one is not the best odds and it might end up moving once the Braves announce either Spencer Strider or Charlie Morton as their starter, but whichever guy it is, I trust in this spot. Strider was amazing all year and has a 2.25 ERA in the first inning this season.
