The Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder are set to do battle at the Paycom Center on Monday night. While the Thunder are one of the lower-tiered teams in the NBA, they have weapons. Plus, the Bulls are playing hurt right now, without several key players.

This should open up the game to the Thunder and give them a chance for an upset win. You can review Peter Dewey’s preview of this game here. For this article, let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

3 Best Prop Bets for Bulls vs. Thunder

  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 24.5 points (-135)
  • Josh Giddey UNDER 13.5 points (-135)
  • Josh Giddey OVER 6 assists (-105)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 24.5 Points (-135)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has the “luxury” of being the best player on a bad team. This means that he gets fed like a fat kid at Halloween on a nightly basis. While his biggest issue has always been consistency, he has been playing at a high level across the board for the last week and change.

Over his last seven games overall, SGA averaged 27 points, six boards and seven assists for the Thunder. He has at least 29 points in five of his last seven and has fallen under this total just twice since the new year. With the Bulls looking like they could be without Lonzo Ball, Javonte Green, Alex Caruso and probably Zach Lavine, there won't be much to stand in his way of taking this game over.

Josh Giddey UNDER 13.5 Points (-135)

While Gilgeous-Alexander has spent the last month taking over this offense, Giddey has faded a bit into the background. He is still contributing, but his scoring totals took a noticeable hit during SGA’s emergence.

He is still averaging 11.5 points per game. But, has just once in his last five games scored over 11 points. Two of his last three games saw the rookie guard score less than ten points. In those games, Giddey was just 7-for-28 from the field. Taking into consideration his recent struggles in the scoring department, I think a total that sits two points higher than his season average is too high.

Josh Giddey OVER 6 Assists (-105)

While I don’t like Giddy's chances to go OVER his scoring prop tonight, I do like him to lead the team in another way.

Giddey is a very talented passer and the team needs him to distribute the ball out of the backcourt. As the Thunder continue to get healthier and better, Giddey’s stats have fallen across the board. But, his 6.2 assists still lead the team and his overall usage has remained unchanged since opening night.

The Bulls’ defense has been struggling lately and ranks near the bottom in defensive efficiency over the last two weeks. I think Giddey takes advantage of this and hits the right guys at the right time to go OVER this prop.
