After two one-sided games to start this series, the Heat travel to Philly with a 2-0 series lead ready to take on a 76ers squad that still doesn't know if Joel Embiid will return from a concussion suffered in the first round of the playoffs. No matter. With or without Embiid, I feel confident in these props bets for tonight, with the odds coming from WynnBET.

Best Prop Bets for Heat vs 76ers

  • Heat -1.5 Third Quarter Point Spread (-110)
  • Tobias Harris Points+Rebounds+Assists 30+ (-115)
  • Jimmy Butler Double Double (+250)

Heat -1.5 Third Quarter Point Spread (-110)

The Heat have outscored the 76ers by 12 points combined in third quarter so far in this series. In Game 2, they outscored by them by 9 points as they pulled away from Philly in the second half. I expect the 76ers to come out hot at home in the first half with their season basically on the line. But Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has built his career around making smart mid-game adjustments. 76ers coach Doc Rivers? Not so much. I'll roll with the better coach and a team I believe will need to turn it on in the third quarter for this bet.

Tobias Harris Points+Rebounds+Assists 30+ (-115)

I won't be locking this in until we find out if Embiid is playing or not. If he's out, I'll take it. If he's playing, I won't.

Harris has suddenly found a hot hand from the field with Embiid missing the first two games of this series, shooting 20-for-35 from the field (57.1%) and averaging 24 PPG. He's also averaging 7.5 Rebound+Assists combined. That puts him right on the edge of this number. In a make-or-break game, and with his teammates struggling, Harris should have plenty of shots and chances to grab boards, provided Embiid isn't there gobbling them up.

Jimmy Butler Double Double (+250)

Butler had a double-double in Game 1 of this series (22 points, 12 assists) and nearly had another in Game 2 (15 points, 9 rebounds). The reason I like this bet at plus money is, as those stats indicate, he can get the double-double through either points or assists.

I also think he's going to have to play more minutes in this game, which will lead to more rebound/assist opportunities. He only played 30 minutes in Game 2 after the Heat pulled away from the 76ers in the second half and didn't need his help. In a tighter game where the Heat can all but punch their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals, I think Butler plays more and stuffs the stat sheet.
