The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Washington Commanders start the season off in the nation’s capital. This is an important start to the season for both teams looking for extreme turnarounds.

BetSided has you covered with a preview to the game, but let’s dive into the prop market for this one.

Best Prop Bets For Jaguars-Commanders Week 1

  • Travis Etienne Anytime TD
  • Carson Wentz OVER 229.5 Passing Yards
  • Marvin Jones OVER 3.5 Receptions

Travis Etienne Anytime TD

With James Robinson not 100%, this is Travis Etienne’s chance to make his name known. He’s going to get the start, which means he’ll get a majority of the work. As a dual-threat running back, expect him to be a factor in both parts of the offense. At nearly 2/1, this is great value for the starting running back.

Carson Wentz OVER 233.5 Passing Yards

Wentz won’t have Jonathan Taylor to lean on this year and I think that means his attempts go up. The Commanders have some talent on the outside with Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson. Wentz is going to take some shots down the field and may be able to pick up some yards that way. I also expect the Commanders to be down late, so they will be forced to throw.

Marvin Jones OVER 3.5 Receptions

Even in a somewhat quiet season in 2021, Marvin Jones was still productive. He had at least four receptions in 10 games last year. The strength of the Commanders defense is its defensive line. Jones will be able to go against the weaker unit on the defense and make himself available to Trevor Lawrence. Jones also had at least four targets in every game but three. This is a great chance for Jones to start the season off right.
