The Packers face the Cardinals in a critical NFC showdown tonight in Arizona. The two division leaders are vying for the top playoff seed in the conference, and the winner of this game has a clear lane to claim the prize of the only bye week in this year's expanded playoffs and home field advantage throughout.

I can't overstate how important that could wind up being.

Davante Adams and Allen Lazard are both out for the Packers while J.J. Watt is done for the season for the Cardinals. The Cardinals are -6.5 point favorites at WynnBET and this is expected to be a high-scoring game with the over/under set at 50 points. Here are three prop bets I like going into this game, all of which can be found at WynnBET, which is also offering a bet $1, win $100 if either team scores a TD in this game promo, something to definitely take advantage of.

DeAndre Hopkins OVER 63.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Imagine getting a number like this on Hopkins at the beginning of the year. People would have thrown all their money at this bet. However, Hopkins has had a surprisingly down season, eclipsing this number only three times, with the latest coming on Oct. 10 against the 49ers. Good news for bettors on this prop: he's still averaging over eight targets per game and just had nine against Houston last week.

Hopkins is dealing with a hamstring injury and didn't participate in the Cardinals lone practice this week. But head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he expects Hopkins to be available. With no Jaire Alexander for the Packers and in a high-volume throwing game, I like Hopkins to get over this number... if he plays.

Aaron Rodgers Anytime TD Scorer (+650)

Rodgers has two rushing touchdowns this year and they both came in big road wins. When his team needs him, Rodgers tends to step up and, with the injuries they're facing on offense, I see them needing him here.

Arizona has been one of the stingiest teams at giving up rushing TDs this year, allowing only 0.4 per game, which is third best in the NFL. If they're focused on bottling up Aaron Jones, that could give Rodgers the change on a bootleg to take one in, because we know it won't come on a sneak. So we're banking on either a broken pass play where Rodgers gets one in or a designed run play here, but those odds are certainly intriguing to sprinkle a few bucks on.

First Half Total Points OVER 24.5

The Packers have scored 14, 10 and 16 points in the first half in their last three games.

The Cardinals have scored 17, 23, and 10 points in the first half in their last three games.

Now, this is Thursday night football, and things tend to start slower in mid-week games. But in a game of this magnitude, a slow start is unacceptable so I see both teams doing everything they can to get the upper hand early. I think this will be tight, but at least we only have to sweat it out for a half.
