3 Best Prop Bets for Patriots vs. Dolphins in NFL Week 1 (Trust Miami's Offense)
We get a divisional rivalry to start the season, with Miami and New England meeting. Both teams have the same quarterbacks as last year, but will look completely different. The Dolphins have a new coach and added Tyreek Hill, while the Patriots are expecting a big jump from Mac Jones.
There’s a lot to examine in this game, but let’s look at the props in this one.
Here are three prop bets for Patriots-Dolphins in Week 1.
Best Prop Bets For Patriots-Dolphins Week 1
- Tua Tagovailoa OVER 227.5 Passing Yards
- Tyreek Hill OVER Receiving Yards
- Tyreek Hill OVER 5.5 Receptions
Tua Tagovailoa OVER 227.5 Passing Yards
Tagovailoa, in my opinion, is slightly underrated as a passer and I think he can start the year off proving people wrong. With two elite receivers, a Kyle Shanahan-disciple for a coach and a terrible run game, the onus is going to be on his arm to get the job done for the Dolphins.
The Patriots secondary lost J.C. Jackson this offseason, which is a huge blow. If the Patriots’ defense can’t replicate the heights it reached last year, the Dolphins will throw the ball all over them.
Tyreek Hill OVER Receiving Yards/Tyreek Hill OVER 5.5 Receptions
We’re going all in on the Dolphins passing game here. Hill was acquired to take the top off of the defense and unlock a new gear for the offense. Hill is just as much a threat near the line of scrimmage as he is down the field. Don’t be shocked to see the Dolphins get him the ball short and in space to let him work.
Nevertheless, Hill is the best deep threat in the NFL. With Jaylen Waddle opposite of him, it’s going to be hard to double-team him. Miami is going to show why it went and acquired Hill and make sure he has the chance for a big game.
