The NLCS begins on Tuesday night with the San Diego Padres hosting the Philadelphia Phillies.

This is an intriguing matchup between two wild card teams, and I think it gives us some opportunities for some prop bets.

Whether you want to back Zack Wheeler, Yu Darvish or a hot Phillies bat, I have props for all types of bettors on Tuesday:

Best MLB Prop Bets for Phillies vs. Padres

  • Zack Wheeler OVER 15.5 Outs Recorded
  • Phillies-Padres No Runs First Inning
  • Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Zack Wheeler OVER 15.5 Outs Recorded

Zack Wheeler has easily cleared this line in both of his postseason starts, tossing 6.0 and 6.1 innings against the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves.

Wheeler has been effective as well, giving up just six hits and three earned runs in the playoffs.

The Padres didn’t hit Wheeler at all in his lone start against them this season. He tossed seven shutout innings with nine punch outs in that game.

Phillies-Padres No Runs First Inning

This is a terrific pitching matchup between Wheeler and Darvish, and I think the first inning remains scoreless because of that.

Darvish has not been the best pitcher in the first inning this season, compiling a 5.40 ERA, but I’m willing to take a shot on him here, especially since he’s pitched to a 3.10 ERA on the season.

Wheeler has been money in the first inning, putting up a 1.38 ERA in his regular season starts and not allowing a run in the first inning in either postseason start.

Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Bryce Harper has been red hot this postseason, picking up 10 hits in six games and clearing this prop in five straight games.

Harper doesn't have much experience against Darvish, going 1-for-6 in his career, but his lone hit is a home run. This prop is a value at plus money with Harper running this hot.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
