The Falcons, who are projected to be in the race for the No. 1 pick, host the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. I’m expecting a big win from the Saints, but I also think there are some great props in this game to bet on.

Atlanta won’t be a good team, but let’s find some ways to bet on them in the opener – while it’s still fun.

Best Prop Bets For Saints-Falcons Week 1

  • Mariota To Throw an interception
  • Jameis Winston OVER 1.5 Touchdowns
  • Kyle Pitts Anytime TD

Marcus Mariota To Throw An INT

Mariota hasn’t played a meaningful amount of time at quarterback since 2020, and I think that rust shows in Week 1. Mariota is playing one of the most opportunistic defenses from a year ago. The Saints were 10th in the league in turnovers per game, averaging 1.5 per game. The Falcons don’t have many great receiving options, so expect for Mariota to take some chances he otherwise wouldn’t.

Jameis Winston OVER 1.5 Touchdowns

Now that he’s healthy, expect Jameis Winston to pick back up where he left off. The Saints were having a good season prior to his injury and now he gets to come back to Michael Thomas and Chris Olave. Winston doesn’t have to throw the ball around the yard, but without a true “ground and pound” back, expect the red zone offense to come through him.

Kyle Pitts Anytime TD

Pitts is already one of the best pass-catching tight ends in the game and he’s the sole proven weapon for the Falcons. He’s going to be the main target for Mariota and make his job a lot easier. Pitts only had one touchdown last season. As dominant as he is, that number is bound to go up. I doubt the Falcons are going to get shutout, so let’s trust their best player to get the job done.
