3 Best Prop Bets for Suns vs. Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns will meet for the first time since the Suns knocked the Lakers out of the playoffs. Both teams are 0-1 and need to get their first win in a crowded Western Conference.
Anthony Davis missed the second half of the playoff series with an injury, which gives him an opportunity to rectify himself tonight. Will Davis prove to be too much for the Suns? Will Phoenix continue to hold their wins over the Lakers’ heads?
The team element will be fun, but the individual performances will bring this game to life.
Here are three prop bets I’m looking at for tonight’s game.

Best Prop Bets For Suns-Lakers
- LeBron James UNDER 30.5 PTS (-120)
- Deandre Ayton OVER 14.5 PTS (-120)
- Chris Paul OVER 25.5 PTS + ASTS
LeBron James UNDER 30.5 PTS (-120)
LeBron dominated in the game against the Warriors, but I’m ready for him to come down to earth a little bit. James was on fire early shooting the ball and while he’s improved, he’s still not an automatic shooter. My main reason for taking the under is that I expect Russell Westbrook to play slightly better, which will take some of the offensive load off of James.
I especially think this if the Lakers are up in the game and James doesn’t have to will them back. James will still have a good game but 31 points is a lot to ask of him tonight.
Deandre Ayton OVER 14.5 PTS (-120)
Ayton showed last year in the playoffs that he can hold his own against the league’s best big men. His game has expanded towards the three-point line, which makes him even more of a threat. If he can stretch the floor on top of what he already does in the pick-and-roll with Chris Paul, he will easily hit the over.
Chris Paul OVER 25.5 PTS + ASTS
Paul wasn’t over-the-top outstanding on Wednesday, but he was still fully in control of the Suns’ offense. He finished with 10 assists and was right on this line. All he needs to do is control the tempo of the game and look to attack the basket a little more and he will hit this. Phoenix stalled out in the second half, but its offense should be able to maintain against a familiar Lakers squad.
