The white-hot Atlanta Hawks are set to host the Toronto Raptors tonight at the State Farm Arena. The Hawks are slight favorites at home after winning seven straight and will look to slow down one of the most talented offenses in the East.

BetSided Editor Peter Dewey already broke down the game here from a head-to-head standpoint. But, I wanted to take a look at some of the player props for this Monday night primetime affair.

3 Best Prop Bets for Raptors vs. Hawks

  • Pascal Siakam OVER 20.5 (-120)
  • OG Anunoby OVER 17.5 Points (-120)
  • Jonas Valanciunas OVER 12.5 Rebounds (-105)

Pascal Siakam OVER 20.5 (-120)

The Raptors’ forward has spent the last month on fire and has been the driving factor in Toronto’s ascension up the Eastern Conference standings. While he is averaging 21 points per game overall, he has upped that to 22.4 since the start of January.

He will need to keep it up if the Raptors want to beat a Hawks team that is riding a seven-game win streak. Despite their win streak, the Hawks are the 21st ranked team in the NBA in defensive rating in January. Siakam has gone under 20 points twice since Jan. 9 and I don’t see him failing in that goal tonight.

OG Anunoby OVER 17.5 Points (-120)

OG Anunoby is coming off his second double-double of the season after dropping 20 points and 14 rebounds on the Heat this past Saturday.

It was the third game in a row that Anunoby scored at least 20 points including a 24-point performance against the Hornets last week. As mentioned above, the Hawks are not the best defensive team on the block and struggle to stop some of the stronger offenses in the league.

The Raptors rank among those teams and Anunoby is a major reason why. Look for him to earn his fourth straight 20 point game tonight in Atlanta.

Clint Capela UNDER 9.5 Rebounds (-125)

While Capela is averaging 11.4 rebounds per game for the Hawks, he has been rather cold on the boards over the last two weeks. Capela has not seen double-digit rebounds since Jan. 7 when he nabbed 12 boards against the Lakers.

In the five games since then, Capela is averaging just 7.6 rebounds per game. He has also seen a slight reduction in minutes over the same span which is something to keep an eye on. On the year, Capela is averaging 29 minutes per game. But, so far in January, the Hawks’ big man is playing less than 25 minutes per game.
