The late game on Boxing day will be an NFC East rivalry game between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Football Team. Dallas leads the NFC East and is double-digit favorites to win this game handily.

Let’s take a look at some prop odds for this showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

3 Best Prop Bets for Washington vs. Cowboys

  • Dak Prescott OVER 279.5 Passing Yards (-115)
  • Michael Gallup OVER 47.5 Passing Yards (-125)
  • Amari Cooper OVER 4.0 Receptions (-125)

Dak Prescott UNDER 279.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Can you say bounce-back game? While it is true that this offense, and specifically Dak Prescott, has hit a bit of a rut recently. The fact remains that the Washington Football Team has one of the worst passing defenses in the league.

They cough up an average of 260.6 passing yards per game and are the third-worst team in the league in this category. Before the slump began, Prescott was averaging over 300 yards passing per game and 8.4 yards per attempt. In his last seven games, that number has dipped to 255 yards. Worth noting that one of those games was to the WFT who held Dak to 211 yards off 39 attempts. I think a revenge/rebound game is in order for the Cowboys here.

Michael Gallup OVER 47.5 Passing Yards (-125)

Since returning from a Week 10 injury, Gallup has been a key part of the Cowboys' passing attack. He has totaled 46 targets, 26 catches, and 320 yards in those games. That is more targets and yards than anyone else on the team has managed over that span.

Gallup has out-targeted Cooper 28-18 and has 19 more yards to show for it. While Cooper is still more talented and the likely No. 1 target in general, Gallup is eating away at a lot of his targets.

Amari Cooper OVER 4.0 Receptions (-125)

Speaking of Cooper and his targets, I think he too gets back into the groove tonight alongside the Cowboys’ offense. The Cowboys, for better or worse, are throwing the ball an average of over 40 times over the last five weeks.

That is a lot of targets to go around. Sure, Cooper is coming off maybe his worst game of the year, but the whole offense was in bad shape against the Giants. After securing just two catches for eight yards, Cooper told the media that he needs to be targeted more to help the offense.

I’m willing to bet the Cowboys ask him to put his money where his mouth is and show him some extra attention tonight.
