The Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions may already be eliminated from playoff contention, but that doesn't mean there aren't a few good betting opportunities when they face each other in Week 17 action.

The Seahawks are currently set as 8.5-point home favorites with the total set at 41, but where I'm going to focus is on some player props.

Here are my top three player props for today's NFC battle. All odds listed are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best Prop Bets for Lions vs. Seahawks

  • Tyler Lockett Anytime TD +125
  • Russell Wilson OVER 235.5 Passing Yards -125
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards -125

Tyler Lockett Anytime TD +125

The weakest part of any already bad Detroit Lions team is its secondary. They rank 31st in both opponent yards per pass attempt and opponent yards per completion. They're also allowing 1.6 passing touchdowns per game. I expect this to be a big game for the Seahawks passing attack, and since we're getting slightly better value on a Lockett TD (+125) compared to a Metcalf TD (+120), I'm going to back Lockett to find the end zone.

He's scored twice in the past three games, and he's been targeted at least six times in three straight games. I think he's in for a big performance against this weak Lions secondary today.

Russell Wilson OVER 235.5 Passing Yards -125

To echo what I just said, I think the Seahawks will be able to move the ball at will through the air against this Detroit defense. Wilson didn't surpass this number in the last two weeks, but he was playing against two strong secondaries in the Rams and Bears. Now that he's facing a weak Lions secondary, I expect a similar performance to what he had against the Texans in Week 14 when he put up 260 yards through the air.

Amon-Ra St. Brown OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards -125

Amon-Ra St. Brown has established himself as one of the top rookie pass-catchers this season, despite being selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

He's recorded at least eight catches in four straight games, and he recorded more than 70 yards in all four of those performances. Don't let Tim Boyle starting at quarterback scare you away from making this bet. St. Brown had nine receptions for 91 yards last week when Boyle was under center against the Falcons.
