The 3-5 Chicago Bears hit the road on Monday night to Heinz Field to take on the 4-3 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bears will try to avoid losing their fourth straight game after losing to the 49ers 33-22 in Week 8.

Quarterback Justin Fields is coming off his best start ever. He threw for 175 yards and a touchdown in the 33-22 loss to San Francisco. He added one interception and 103 yards rushing.

Let’s take a look at some betting prop odds for Justin Fields at WynnBET Sportsbook and make a few bold predictions for Monday Night Football.

Bold Predictions for Bears vs. Steelers

  • Justin Fields OVER 39.5 rushing yards (-125)
  • Justin Fields UNDER 185.5 passing yards (-125)
  • Justin Fields UNDER 0.5 passing touchdowns

Justin Fields OVER 39.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

WynnBET has Fields rushing total set at 39.5 yards, with the over a -125 favorite to the under (-115). Fields will need to keep the Steelers defense guessing if he has any chance to keep his team in this game. So, him being active on the ground might be more of a requirement than a pregame game plan. He will be under constant pressure and will find himself flushed out of the pocket all night.

Fields is a talented runner and one can assume there will be at least a few designed runs for him as well. The Bears will hope to avoid having to resort to using their quarterback in such a way, but, are also a light on options.

Justin Fields UNDER 0.5 Passing Touchdowns

This is not a farfetched as it seems. Not even close as Fields has five games this season without a passing touchdown. Not the greatest stat for your starting quarterback.

Those touchdown-less games came against the Bucs, Lions, Browns, Bengals, and Rams. The Steelers are equal to or better than all of those teams on defense. I think Fields' best chance at scoring will be on the ground against the Steelers.

The Bears might have to rely on their defense if they want to avoid a shutout on Monday night.

Justin Fields UNDER 185.5 Passing Yards

The fading of Fields continues when it comes to his total passing yard odds. His career high is 209 yards passing in Week 3. But, that was against the Detroit Lions. His second best was 184 yards against the Bucs.

These are not world-class defenses like the Steelers. I expect Fields to have a day more like his game against the Raiders where he had 111 yards off 12 completions. Even though the Bears will be playing from behind, I don't think Fields will be able to find much success at all.

WynnBET has his over/under set at 185.5 yards with the over (-125) a slight favorite on the under (-115).
