The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruised to a 4-1 record in Week 5, destroying the Miami Dolphins, 45-17. Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady would turn the Dolphins defense into swiss cheese, throwing for 411 yards and five touchdowns.

In the middle of Brady’s stat-padding performance, Tampa Bay running back Leonard Fournette had a decent game, rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries and hauling in four catches for 43 yards. Not as amazing as Brady’s display, but solid nonetheless.

Here are three bold predictions for Leonard Fournette in Thursday Night’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. All odds are courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Leonard Fournette WILL Have 100 or More Rushing Yards

Fournette has only averaged 50.2 rushing yards per game this season, so him rushing for 100 or more yards seems like a tall task. But, Fournette will be facing a Philadelphia defense that has allowed 142 rushing yards per game (30th in the NFL).

In the last three weeks, the Eagles allowed 95 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Ezekiel Elliott and 60 rushing yards to Tony Pollard of the Dallas Cowboys, 102 rushing yards on 14 carries to Clyde Edwards-Helaire of the Kansas City Chiefs, and 101 rushing yards to rookie Chuba Hubbard of the Carolina Panthers.

Fournette will hit the century mark on Thursday Night Football, so don’t be afraid to take the over on his rushing yards prop at 63.5 yards (Over -125/Under -115).

Leonard Fournette WILL Have 7 Catches

Tom Brady has a sore thumb and is going into Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on a short week. After such a big performance last week, I think Brady will be taking it easy in this one.

Also, Bucs’ tight end Rob Gronkowski will be sitting this one out.

Sure, Brady has a litany of pass catching options to take Gronkowski’s place, but why not check it down to your running back?

Through the first five games, Fournette has caught 19 passes on 24 targets. That’s only one less catch and five less targets than wide receiver Antonio Brown. Fournette is a more reliable pass catcher than one might expect, and he could easily hit the over 3.5 receptions (Over -145/Under +105) on his receptions prop.

Leonard Fournette WILL Score Two Touchdowns

Fournette only has one touchdown this season, which is a little disappointing since he plays for a team that is averaging 33.4 points per game.

As I mentioned, Philadelphia’s defense has struggled with stopping the run. Yes, Tom Brady is dealing with a sore thumb on a short week, and there is no Gronkowski in sight, Tampa Bay should keep handing the ball off to Fournette anyway.

Fournette could score one on the ground and another in the air, but it doesn’t matter. He should see a heavy workload on Thursday.

For someone with a decent workload in this offense and only has one touchdown this season is a shame. Thursday Night Football will be Fournette’s time to shine.
