The Utah Jazz are looking to remain undefeated at home this season when they host the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.

Indiana is coming off a loss to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, and it is just 4-8 on the season. WynnBET has the Pacers as 10.5-point underdogs in this matchup.

Let’s dive into some bold predictions for tonight’s contest in Utah

Bold Predictions for Pacers vs. Jazz

  • Donovan Mitchell OVER 26.5 Points (-115)
  • Chris Duarte OVER 13.5 Points (-115)
  • Myles Turner UNDER 12.5 Points (-110)

Donovan Mitchell OVER 26.5 Points (-115)

Donovan Mitchell has scored 27 or more points in five of his last six games, with the only time he fell below the number coming in Utah’s loss to Orlando.

Mitchell shot just 8-for-24 in that game, and he’s averaging 24.5 shots per game over his last six matchups. The volume is certainly there for Spida, and he’s averaging 25.9 points per game despite shooting just 31.9 percent from beyond the arc this season.

If he gets going from 3, Mitchell will easily hit the over against the Pacers, who rank 23rd in the NBA in defensive rating this season.

Chris Duarte OVER 13.5 Points (-115)

Pacers wing Caris LeVert will miss his second straight game with back tightness, and I think that opens the door for Chris Duarte to have a big game.

When LeVert was out of the lineup for the Pacers’ first six games, Duarte averaged 18.7 points per game in 36.5 minutes per game. With LeVert in the lineup this season, those numbers have dipped to just 12.8 points in 30.4 minutes per game.

What’s even crazier is Duarte went from 17.0 shots per game to just 10.0 with LeVert in the lineup. I think this is a spot for him to get right with a bigger role on the horizon.

Myles Turner UNDER 12.5 Points (-110)

Myles Turner has been a boom or bust option in the Pacers’ offense this year, and I think he takes a step back against reigning Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert.

Turner has eclipsed this mark just five times this season, and he has four games where he has failed to even reach double-digits. I’ll gladly fade him against Gobert tonight.
