The Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night looking to build on their 4-0 start on the year.

On the other side, the Grizzlies wrap up a four game road trip and are on the second night of a back-to-back.

You can get our full game preview here, but below is our bold prediction plays for this Western Conference showdown, with odds courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Bold Predictions for Grizzlies vs. Warriors

  • Desmond Bane OVER 13.5 Points (-112)
  • Stephen Curry UNDER 33.5 Points (-110)
  • Grizzlies Team Total UNDER 110.5 (+110)

Desmond Bane OVER 13.5 Points (-112)

What?

This line is 13.5?

Seriously?

Bane is playing nearly 29 minutes per game this season and is yet to score less than 17 points. Last night, he only played 23 minutes, his lowest output to date, so I expect him to push closer to 30 with some tired legs on the Grizzlies bench.

This number is way too low, and I'll keep betting Bane overs until oddsmakers adjust.

Stephen Curry UNDER 33.5 Points (-110)

Nobody wants to bet a Steph Curry under, but here I am.

Outside of a 45-point outburst against the Clippers, Curry is averaging less than 24 points per game this season. The Warriors are getting contributions from role players like Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins at times and Curry has not been asked to score at such a high clip.

This total is based on the name and not the stats, I'll sit and root for this under.

Grizzlies Team Total UNDER 110.5 (+110)

The Grizzlies are tired. As mentioned above, the team is finishing a four game road trip against stiff competition: the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers; now they must face a scorching hot Warriors team.

The Grizz only scored 39 points in the second half and the Dubs are a top five defense this season, according to points per possession. There's a chance that Memphis, who is 22nd in effective field goal percentage, pulls the plug early after a grueling early season roadie.

I'll play this team total a point lower than the listed spread and save some juice. This game could be a blowout.
