The NL MVP race was one of the most fun things to watch last MLB season. Bryce Harper ended the season with the award and will try and repeat as MVP. There is a long list of potential candidates who can steal the crown from Harper, and that is what we'll dive into here.

Here are three players that you should consider as your dark horse NL MVP pick.

All odds listed are via WynnBET.

Tyler O’Neil:  +2500

O’Neil finished eighth in the voting last season, and he has a decent chance of stealing the top spot. O’neil is solid across the board when it comes to hitting. He doesn’t have the most demonstrative stats, but a big year in one category could elevate his statline into elite status.

On top of his bat, his glove is great. He’s been honored with a Gold Glove for the last two seasons. With great defense and a surprising offensive season, he could make the jump.

Ozzie Albies: +4000

Albies finally put all the pieces together last season. He was an All-Star and a silver slugger. He also finished 13th in the MVP voting. Albies can get to the top of the standings if he can get close to where he was in 2019 – when he led the majors in hits. If Albies can be consistent at the top of the league, the MVP could be the next trophy in his case.

Max Muncy: +4000

Muncy was 10th in the voting last season and will have a lot of competition for the award – with most of it coming from his own team. Muncy will have to be “more valuable” than Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman and Cody Bellinger. It’s a gauntlet of players, but it makes the best Dodger have the best case.

Muncy has the numbers to back up a case for him. He would need to have a career year in order to clearly surpass the other three players, but this is a good chance for Muncy to continue improving.
