A new regime has taken over the Giants, as Joe Schoen is now the general manager and Brian Daboll is the head coach. New York made a series of confounding, sometimes mystifying decisions under Dave Gettleman, so Giants fans should be ecstatic that he's no longer in the fold.
It's a critical year for New York. They've declined the player option on Daniel Jones' contract, meaning they'll have this season to decide if they want to commit to him long-term or if they're interested in exploring the market.

This is a difficult game to ask the Giants to win. But when your entire roster is a question mark moving forward and everyone is being evaluated, you need a big upset win here and there.
Beating Dallas would show the NFL that this Giants teams' ceiling is high, and their roster is worth keeping together.
