The tides may be changing in New York.

Both the Jets and Giants are considered to have had great offseasons, and the Jets are putting together a lethal group of playmakers around second-year quarterback Zach Wilson.

After a disappointing 4-13 campaign in 2021, Wilson and the Jets are expected to take a step forward in 2022.

WynnBET Sportsbook currently has the Jets listed at +1800 to win the AFC East, +7500 to win the AFC, and +12500 to win the Super Bowl.

If New York is going to shock the world and make a postseason run in Wilson's sophomore season, here are three must-win games on their upcoming schedule:

Three Must-Win Games for the New York Jets

vs Miami Dolphins

The Bills are the class of the AFC East and honestly, the Jets don't have much hope to catch them. But they can make up ground on the other teams in the division in hopes of a Wild Card push.

The Dolphins are a trendy pick to exceed expectations in 2022 thanks to overhauling their offense. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are flanking Tua Tagovailoa and they've got a stout defense.

But Tagovailoa's limitations at quarterback are well-known, and the Jets' improved pass rush can cause problems for him. Beating the Dolphins at home would go a long way towards a playoff push for New York.

vs New England Patriots

I've got the same line of thinking here. If the Jets can beat the Dolphins and Patriots at home, they'll be in great position to get out of the AFC East cellar.

It's a tall order to say they have to beat either one on the road, but if they lose to both at home then I don't see how the Jets can make a postseason run.

vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Zach Wilson was selected immediately after Jaguars' quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and he'll be anxious to show out against the only person chosen before him in the NFL Draft.

The Jaguars were the worst team in the NFL last season, and you absolutely must beat the bad teams on your schedule if you're going to make the playoffs. Losing to Jacksonville at home would quickly leave the Jets in a hole, so this is a crucial matchup on their schedule.

If you like the Jets' chances to bring postseason football back to New York, head on over to WynnBET and get your futures bets placed.

The Jets have some of the longest odds in the field, so there's a chance for a huge payday if your optimism is rewarded.
