NFL player props are meant for prime time football!

When there’s one game that everyone will have their eyes glued to, who wants to just stick to only one bet? Not this guy.

I like to have my bet on the moneyline or total, and then sprinkle in a few player prop bets as well.

Not only is it a prime time NFL game tonight, but some people are calling it one of the biggest regular season games in recent history as Tom Brady is set to return to New England to face his former team for the first time.

Let’s dive into my top three player prop bets for tonight’s game. Alllisted are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Leonard Fournette OVER 49.5 Rushing Yards -115

The Buccaneers lack of running the football makes this bet tough to lock in, but with them being 7-point favorites against the Patriots tonight, you might be able to assume they’ll have the lead late in the game. A late lead means more rushing opportunities.

The Patriots are much more vulnerable on the ground than the air as well, which may lead Tampa Bay to run the ball early in the game. The Patriots rank sixth in the NFL in opponent yards per pass attempt (5.9), but they rank 13th in opponent yards per carry (4.0).

I’m hoping for a big game from Fournette tonight.

Nelson Agholor OVER 42.5 Receiving Yards -120

If the Patriots want any hope of beating the Buccaneers tonight, they’ll have to take some shots downfield, and that’s where Nelson Agholor shines.

The Rams beat the Bucs last week by doing exactly that, so the blueprint is there on how to take down Tampa Bay. If Belichick decides to follow that gameplan, we may only need two or three receptions by Agholor for him to surpass his receiving yards total.

Jakobi Meyes is another option, but with his number all the way up 63.5, I like Agholor’s receiving total a little bit more.

O.J. Howard Anytime TD +175

Tom Brady loves to hit his tight ends in the red zone, and I don’t expect that to change with Rob Gronkowski out of the lineup. O.J. Howard will step into the role and be the featured tight end for the Buccaneers tonight, which will boost his chances of getting in the endzone.

Howard had 11 receptions in four games last year before being placed on injured reserve, and two of those catches were for touchdowns. With Gronk out of the lineup, I expect him to continue that level of success.

It’s a fantastic value bet at +175 odds for tonight.
