The San Francisco Giants won the NL West over the Los Angeles Dodgers and showed that they really were the better team in Game 1, shutting out the Dodgers 4-0.

The Giants got on the board early with catcher Buster Posey’s first inning two-run homer off Los Angeles’ starting pitcher Walker Buehler and San Francisco’s starter, Logan Webb, silenced the Dodgers’ bats for 7 ⅔ innings.

Posey, Kris Bryant, and Brandon Crawford all hit home runs for the Giants. Webb struck out ten batters and Buehler only struck out five.

Let’s take a look at three prop bets for NLDS Game 2, odds courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Julio Urias OVER 5 strikeouts (-125)

Being in the same division, Urias got to see the Giants quite a bit in 2021. Urias made five starts against San Francisco and managed to pitch at least five innings and collect five strikeouts in every start.

The Giants offense came through yesterday by way of the home run, all four runs scored on three homers. If Urias can limit the longball he should pitch deep enough in this game to get that sixth strikeout.

Justin Turner to Hit a Home Run (+445)

I tabbed Turner to hit a home run last night and he failed me. I’m going back to the well in Game 2.

Turner hit a home run off San Francisco starting pitcher Kevin Gausman in the regular season and I think he’ll be the man to rise to the occasion and get this Los Angeles offense going.

If Turner doesn’t go deep tonight, then I will have learned my lesson.

Brandon Crawford UNDER 0.5 Hits (+120)

Crawford is batting just .222 in his last seven games, and he hit just .224 against lefties compared to .319 versus righties in 2021.

Crawford also hasn’t been the best bat when it comes to the postseason, batting just .237 in his postseason career. Crawford has two World Series rings, but no NLCS or World Series’ MVPs.

Yeah, I know Crawford homered last night and Turner didn’t. Let’s flip the script in Game 2.
