3 Prop Bets for White Sox vs. Astros Game 2
The Houston Astros walked all over the Chicago White Sox in Game 1 of the ALDS. Luckily for the White Sox, they can get right back to it today to try and tie the series at one a piece.
Today will feature Framber Valdez against Lucas Giolito on the mound. With a lot at stake today, Game 2 should provide us with great baseball as each team inches closer to the ALCS.
Here are three prop bets you should watch for in Game 2.

Houston 7th Inning Moneyline (+100)
I’m all over the Astros to go up 2-0 in the ALDS, so I don’t expect a comeback being needed. If you don’t want to take any of the juice at -120, here’s a good opportunity to still have faith in the Astros at a better number.
Houston has led after seven innings in four of its last five games. If Valdez performs the way he has in the past, this is a great spot for the Astros.
Framber Valdez OVER 5.0 Strikeouts (-130)
Valdez is great in the postseason and I really like this number. In his three career postseason starts, he’s gone over five strikeouts twice. In his last start before the postseason started, Valdez had seven strikeouts.
The White Sox were 12th in the league in strikeouts per game. If Valdez goes deep into the game, which isn’t unusual for him, a six strikeout performance is completely on the table.
Lucas Giolito OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-135)
Now while I believe the Astros are going to win this game, 4.5 strikeouts is too good to pass up in my opinion. Giolito struck out eight in his only postseason appearance last season, and I think he will help make Game 2 a more respectable performance for the White Sox.
Giolito had a SO/9 rate of 10.1 during the regular season. Even if the Astros are able to eventually get hits off of him, 5 strikeouts sounds like a reasonable ask. The juice is high, but I’ll roll with Giolito.
