Two teams thick in the playoff hunt who are looking for a bounce-back win after a disappointing Week 13 result will face-off this Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals host the San Francisco 49ers.

The Bengals fell to the Chargers last week, and the 49ers were upset by the Seahawks in the late-afternoon slate. Heading into Week 14, the two teams are holding on to the No. 7 seed in their respective conferences, but will surely drop out of that spot if they fail to secure the win.

Here are the odds for this weekend's NFC vs. AFC matchup, courtesy of WynnBET.

49ers vs. Bengals Prediction and Pick

The betting odds show that this game is literally a coin flip, but the statistics tell a different story. The 49ers have the advantage in a majority of categories. San Francisco ranks sixth in yards per play (6.0) and 10th in opponent yards per play (5.3), while the Bengals rank 13th (5.7) and 20th (5.6) in those stats respectively.

If there's one area where the Bengals can exploit the 49ers, it's on the ground. They've averaged 4.5 yards per rush over their last three games, and now they face a 49ers team that is allowing 4.4 yards per carry this season, which ranks 20th in the NFL.

Despite that, I'm going to back what most statistics tell me, which is that the 49ers have been the better football team this season, regardless of record.

Pick: 49ers -110
