The San Francisco 49ers got humbled in their home stadium last week by the Kansas City Chiefs after all the momentum seemed to be heading in their favor.

Kansas City dropped 44 points on one of the top rated defenses in football, as the NFC West favorites now find themselves a game below .500.

This week, they head to Los Angeles to face the Rams who come off a bye and a similar disappointing 3-3 record on the season. Last year's Super Bowl champions have been a shell of themselves on both sides of the ball; ranked bottom five in total offense and middle of the pack defensively at 11th in yards per play.

The 49ers already took down the Rams in Santa Clara earlier this year. Can they sweep the series in L.A?

Here are the latest odds for this week's NFC West showdown from SoFi Stadium.

49ers vs. Rams Prediction and Pick

The 49ers got pummeled by a pissed off Chiefs team that did what they traditionally do when they start to get overlooked by the rest of the league, but I'm not going to over-analyze what happened last week within the context of this matchup.

Sean McVay is 4-2-0 ATS coming off after a bye in his career, but even with extra rest, there's not much this team is getting back. Cam Akers has likely played his final game in a Rams uniform, the offensive line is still in shambles, and other than Cooper Kupp and perhaps Tyler Higbee, nobody else on L.A. is playing well offensively. The much-maligned Rams' offense currently ranks 28th in the league in yards per play

San Francisco, on the other hand now gets Christian McCaffrey available for an entire game, and always seems to have the upper hand in this matchup. The 49ers took down the Rams earlier this year in Santa Clara, and Kyle Shanahan has covered six straight times vs. McVay's squad, going 9-3 ATS overall.

McVay as a home dog has not been an advantageous spot for bettors through his career.

I got a good number on the Niners moneyline earlier in the week, and it's still available now. I'll back them to get it done on the road in a bounceback victory.
