The NFC West is on the line tonight when the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks face off.

This matchup is completely different from the first game back in Week 2, with the 49ers down to their 3rd string quarterback and the Seahawks heavily involving a rookie running back.

Although the 49ers’ defense is great, there are several players that hold value to score on the vaunted unit. This game is set to be a good one, so here are three TD scorer picks to consider for the night.

Best Anytime TD Scorer for 49ers-Seahawks

  • DK Metcalf
  • George Kittle
  • Geno Smith

Tyler Lockett

Lockett has longer odds than his counterpart, D.K. Metcalf, and has a better case for scoring tonight. He’s become a touchdown machine, scoring in his last six games. Lockett also has had success over the years on Thursday, scoring four touchdowns in seven starts. He had nine catches on 11 targets in the first matchup against the 49ers, so I’m not worried about San Francisco taking him out the game.

George Kittle

Kittle has settled into his role as one of the best blocking tight ends in the league, but he still has a lot of value to score tonight. With Deebo Samuel out, Kittle steps up the depth chart for scoring. Seattle’s defense still isn’t good, allowing nearly 400 yards of offense per game. Brock Purdy has looked more than competent, so Kittle can surely step right back into a pass-catching role.

Geno Smith

Seattle is getting Kenneth Walker back, but that may not be the boost we think of it as. Walker has a combined 79 rushing yards in his last three games. He is coming off of an injury, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Seahawks used him as a slight decoy and let Smith use his legs. This touchdown would either come as a red zone scramble or a QB sneak, and I’m good with the value we’re getting here.
