There are so many things that go into placing a quality bet on an NFL game, so we’re here to help.

There are stats and trends to look at all over the place each week, so why not curate five crazy stats to help you get a better feel for some of the matchups?

This week, there are several big favorites in the NFL due to some lopsided matchups, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find betting value. Here are five stats to know for Week 12:

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Stat to Know

The New York Giants have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, allowing 5.3 yards per carry this season and giving up 100-yard rushing games to four different players.

New York takes on the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving this week, and Dallas had 178 combined rushing yards from Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott in the first meeting between these two teams.

Both Dallas backs are great prop targets this week.

Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers Stat to Know

The Denver Broncos are just 3-7 this season, but it’s been because they have one of the worst offenses you’ll ever see.

Denver would be 9-1 (!!) this season if it had scored 18 or more points in regulation of every game this season.

Instead, the Broncos are the best UNDER team in the league, going 9-1 this season. The total for their game with the Carolina Panthers is 35.5.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Chargers Stats to Know

Every week, BetSided’s NFL expert Iain MacMillan shares his net yards per play report, and there may be one thing that shocks you:

The Arizona Cardinals rank 31st in the league this season.

With Kyler Murray’s status up in the air, the Cards are four-point dogs to the Los Angeles Chargers, who don’t rank much better, slotting in at 28th in the league.

Still, Arizona was dismantled by the San Francisco 49ers without Murray, so it will be hard to trust in Week 12.

New Orleans Saints vs. San Francisco 49ers Stats to Know

The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the best second half teams in the NFL as of late, holding opponents to 0 second half points over their last three games.

However, they take on the New Orleans Saints this week, who are third in the NFL in second half scoring this season, averaging 12.8 second half points per game on the season, including 14.4 in road games.

The 49ers are major favorites in this game, but one of these stats is going to have to give in Week 12.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Kansas City Chiefs Stat to Know

Patrick Mahomes doesn’t lose in November and December in his career. No, he seriously doesn’t.

Kansas City’s star quarterback has led his team to 25 straight wins in these two months, an NFL record.

The Chiefs are massive favorites against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12, but they could make for a good parlay or teaser piece knowing how great Mahomes is in these games.
