Coming into this season, we all knew that Mike Tomlin's streak of never having a losing season was in jeopardy. The Steelers have had a rough start to the season, sitting with a 2-6 record. They’ve gone through two quarterbacks, have seen their defense decline and haven’t seen much progression from Najee Harris.

Yet don’t give up on Pittsburgh just yet. In fact, now is the time to get your Steelers stock.

Pittsburgh Steelers Win Total is a Value Bet

FanDuel currently has the Steelers’ win total at 5.5, with the OVER at +100 and the UNDER at -120.

Pittsburgh is going into a bye week and has a chance to turn things around in the second half of the season. This will give Kenny Pickett some time to catch his breath, as he was named the starter during one of the most hectic times in the Steelers’ season.

The hope for Pittsburgh’s second half of the year is the fact their schedule eases up in a big way. The Steelers have the seventh-easiest schedule the rest of the way. They have five games against teams that are also under .500. They’ll start the second half against the Saints, who are currently 28th in opponents points per game.

The Steelers just need to play .500 football the rest of the way to hit the OVER on the win total. Pittsburgh is 32nd in points per game, yards per game and yards per play. The Steelers can only get better in the second half of the season.
